“For indoor spaces, electronic sound sources are used, often designed across a series of loud speakers. Pieces have tended to be commissioned as illustrations designed for spaces in art and/or museum exhibition settings. There is quite often a looped narrative in the design for the sound experience. Incidentally, the remit for the inside spaces that I have worked on has required a replication of the outdoors, inside” Frances Gill.
