“I started playing the flute age 7 (recorder age 6), so I have now been playing the flute approaching 50 years. It is my first instrument, and I am classically trained. Of the many things I can claim to be, a flautist I am! Engagements through the years have included playing in secular and scared contexts: - in concerts; the theatre; for TV; at festivals, and for private functions. I play from the classical flute repertoire, and beyond, including folk , Latin and jazz!” Frances Gill.
